March and Reading Week

Well, here we are in March already, the year 2021 is already well on its way, despite the fact that I’m still not used to write 2021. This week has been our reading week at Loyalist College, so no class. But despite the break, I’ve been busy enough, even shooting more than usual.

I shot a story for the Pioneer on Friday afternoon and another one Wednesday (yesterday). I also shot a “notable Canadian” for one of our later assignment, more on that later. Finally, I also shot at a city media event for the opening of a mass immunization centre in Kingston. And one of my images was even used by Kingstonist, an online Kingston publication for an article on Rotarians (see below).

I even got to shoot our mayor, Bryan Paterson, and the Kingston Frontenac Lennox & Addington Public Health Officer Dr. Kieran Moore, who as in most areas, has become quite a well known public figure in the last year. All in all, quite a productive week.

KINGSTON, Ont. (01/03/2021) – Kingston Frontenac Lennox & Addington Public Health Officer Dr. Kieran Moore discusses the opening of the new mass vaccination centre at the INVISTA Centre in western Kingston while Kingston Mayor Bryan Paterson looks on. « It is our plan that we should be able to immunize 3,000 people a day at this location, » says Moore.
