Street Photography

As I travel I usually always carry my camera with me. Always looking for interesting scenes or subjects allows me to look for and see things I would not necessarily notice otherwise. I enjoy taking candid pictures, especially in areas that may be busy like markets or busy streets.

Here is a small sample of some of the Street Photography I have taken over the last few months.

Greece – Revisited

I had the opportunity to revisit Greece again this spring, with the same itinerary and sites I saw a few months ago. I find it interesting that when visiting places again you get to appreciate them even more, often in a deeper and more meaningful way. I suppose it is probably because the first time you see a new place/site, you are a bit overwhelmed but what you see and learn. But when you see it again, you appreciate more about how it came to be and its place in the overall context of the country/continent. More importantly, you also get to know the people from those places better and to me that is the most important treasure I get from travelling.

Another downtown Toronto shoot

Once more I had the opportunity to meet a model downtown Toronto for a shoot. Lily was great to work with and we both had fun doing this. We were even able to shoot both indoors and outdoors taking advantage of the 3 deg C weather in February.

Thank you Lily for a fun and productive experience!

Working with a model

I had a great time working with a model in downtown Toronto around Union Station about a week ago. Alisson was great to work with and I’m happy with what we have produced together.

A few samples below, and more in my portfolio. Thank you Alisson, I had a great time!

Looking forward to create with more models.
